Barefoot
Barbara Sansoni, a colourist and artist, created the Barefoot concept in 1958 to provide a rehabilitation program for young Sri Lankan women who had little schooling and no skills. Her aim was to teach women skills in all stages of the creative process – dying, weaving, and needlework.
Today, Barefoot is a premier textile design company exporting worldwide. These beautifully designed collections are fully handmade to the highest quality workmanship. All materials, including dyes, are safe and eco-friendly.
